Lucknow: Police personnel retiring next year in the year 2024 will not be put on duty in the Lok Sabha elections. There will be no transfer of retiring police personnel. In fact, keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year, a transfer policy has been issued regarding the transfer of policemen in Uttar Pradesh.

On the instructions of the DGP, instructions have been given by the ADG Establishment to transfer police personnel who have completed 3 years in a district. With this, there has been a stir among the police officers and employees who have been stuck in the same district for more than 3 years.

On the instructions of the DGP of Uttar Pradesh, the transfer policy of police personnel has been issued by the ADG Establishment. It has been said that for the formation of the 18th Assembly, the police personnel who were appointed in the assembly elections held in the year 2022 will also be transferred, whereas the police personnel who are retiring till the year 2024 will not be transferred. The duty of such police personnel will also not be imposed in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. The special thing is that on the complaint of inspectors or sub-inspectors being close to political parties, some police officers and employees will be transferred by the department. Police personnel who have completed 3 years by the year 2024 will be transferred.
